AC Shadows Reveals Unexpected AoT Event for Holiday Season

In a unexpected partnership that breaks conventional predictions, the game developer has unveiled an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Revealed

According to the formal announcement, "A mysterious encounter draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where whispers of banned practices and monstrous changes resonate through the shadows." The plot features a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a secret cult.

The questline concentrates on "bizarre tests and a monstrous foe" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Metamorphoses

The preview highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser concludes with a striking moment showing a character, presumably the captive, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Additional Content

Players who successfully complete the mission will receive an unique katana together with numerous artifacts concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
